Kat Von D..The Ultimate Kitty in The Tattoo Game…Meow!!
Mi gente, my people…today I was actually contemplating getting another tattoo. I already have a tattoo of an abstract kitty on my left ankle with my name LYNX coming down the side where the rest of her body should be, simple but appealing. I thought it would look sexxy when I rocked my 4 or 5 inch open toe sandals and french pedicured toes. I know the foot fetish freaks know what I’m talking about.
I do get complimented on my kitty, but I feel uneven, so , today I looked into getting a tattoo on my right ankle, maybe some cat scratches starting at the top of my ankle and coming accross my foot;what do you guys think?
Well, I was searching for….
some ideas online and I came accross none other than Katherine Von Drachenburg formerly of Miami Ink also known as KAT VON D ( Kat now has her own show titled L.A. Ink). I thought , hmm , I’m a cat and she’s a Kat, let’s see if she got something for me. Well, when I saw her pictures and I saw her work I soon forgot about my tattoo and found myself becoming interested in who she was, what she was about and how on earth did a gorgoeus girl like her get into a male dominated craft and become world renowed.
I suppose as with any game, the rap game , the dance game , and the art game- when you are unique and your work is like no other then your craft speaks for itself.
Kat has been tattooing since the age of 14. I was surprised to find out that she was born in Mexico and her parents are actually from Argentina (her father is part German , hence the last name).
